The Middle Fork Barn Story...

Middle Fork Barn is a wedding barn and event venue located on our family farm nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Meadowview, Virginia. Mark grew up here on his parents' 140-acre dairy farm. We bought the farm in 2012, and it is now a beef cattle operation.

In 2015, when our daughter got engaged, we began planning her wedding. We looked at a few barn venues and found most were not very affordable. We also realized that our own farm had the most breathtaking views around!

So, one thing led to another and we started construction on our barn! Initially, it was meant to just replace an old working barn lost in the 2011 tornado.  As plans evolved, though, we realized the demand for barn wedding venues and decided to rent it out to the public after our daughter's wedding on May 28, 2016. With original plan modifications, we re-purposed wood from farm buildings toppled by the tornado and used walnut lumber from damaged trees. The oak lumber used in the bridal suite was reclaimed from a local stockyard.

Jordan's wedding day was her dream come true! Truly an enchanting event! The barn was beautiful, the weather perfect and the bride stunning!
